Vivekananda Darshanika Samajam (VDS), the governing trust behind Tadvanam Ashramam, has been actively engaged in nurturing young minds and instilling in them a spirit of service, courage, and spiritual curiosity since its early works began in 2006 and its official establishment as a trust in 2008.
In December 2020, a significant transformation unfolded as the trust’s work blossomed into its spiritual dimension with the founding of Tadvanam Ashramam, a sacred centre dedicated to sincere seekers and spiritual aspirants. This milestone was marked by the founder of VDS, Sri Jayakumar Ramakrishnan, embracing an ascetic life and establishing Tadvanam Ashramam at Kalladikode, Palakkad.
Later, in 2025, the Ashramam expanded its presence by commencing another centre at Kanjirakadavu, Malampuzha II. While VDS continues to engage in public-oriented activities, Tadvanam Ashramam serves as its spiritual heart, offering a space for contemplation, learning, and self-discovery.
The Ashramam has an executive committee that oversees its day-to-day functioning and manages annual events, including the coordination of Sivarathri Maholsavam and other spiritual gatherings. The list of executive committee members is provided below.
