In 2022, Tadvanam Ashramam organized the inaugural Shivarathri Maholsavam, marked by a traditional Kalampattu (ritual dust art) performance, adding a unique dimension to the celebrations. As part of a tradition the ashram follows every year, the Vilambaram ceremony—signifying the formal commencement of the festival—was observed in conjunction with the Tiruvannamalai Karthika Deepam celebrations.
